Huevo relleno con jamon is Spain’s version of Deviled Eggs. It’s version utilizes a Spanish favorite, Jamon Serrano (Serrano Ham). Jamon Serrano is a culinary staple throughout Spain. This recipe makes 24 servings.
– 12 eggs
– 6 tbsp mayonnaise
– 1 tsp mustard
– salt and ground black pepper
– 4 oz. sliced Jamon Serrano
Hard boil eggs, peel and cut into halves. Remove yolks and mix them with mayonnaise and mustard. Add seasonings. Cut 24 strips of jamon serrano 2 ¼ inches and set aside. Dice remaining Spanish ham and add to mixture then add strip of jamon serrano to each egg as garnish. Enjoy!
